About Amanda & the company
Hi, I'm Amanda, Director of Helping Hands — your trusted and affordable home support and cleaning provider based in Burnley and the surrounding areas.
As a Mum of two, I know first-hand how important it is to have people around you that you can genuinely trust. I'm a naturally caring person, and that shows in everything we do at Helping Hands. With over 10 years of experience in the care and cleaning sector, I've built a business rooted in compassion, reliability and a real commitment to the families we work with.
Alongside running Helping Hands, I also work for the NHS in patient services on a bank contract - meaning I choose the shifts that work around my business. It keeps me sharp on the latest legislation, compliance updates and training requirements, so the knowledge I bring to your loved ones is always current and grounded in real world practice.
My goal is simple, to ensure that every family feels completely comfortable and confident in handing the care of their loved ones over to us, as well as knowing their home or business is in safe hands too. At Helping Hands, you're not just another client, you're part of our community, and we treat every person we support with the same warmth and respect we'd want for our own families.
Another thing that sets us apart from other home care companies and cleaning companies, is that we are extremely affordable. Starting from only £20ph, our services don’t break the bank and are accessible for most people.
